Obama's Job is Done

With great fan-fare, Barack Obama was elected into office as the 44th President of the United States in November 2008. He thought his job was to "fundamentally transform" these United States. In a way, he was correct. His view of what the transformation should look like was not exactly what happened, however. Oh, yes, he did manage, without one Republican vote, to squeak through a step towards socialized medicine that is so full of bureaucratic nonsense. It is that one bit of horrendous legislation, and his single-minded devotion to it, that was the beginning of his undoing.

America has awakened. That was Barack Obama's job. That's it. He will be voted out in a landslide later today and Americans have had a proper 4 year lesson.

Hidden from view from all but the very discerning, the true nature of the Democrat Party has been exposed. For 4 relentless years we've been bombarded with the "civil rights" issue of gay "marriage", the "right" to kill unborn babies, the "truth" that all Republicans, Tea Partiers, and evangelicals are racist, even in the face of the truth that the people that keep bringing up skin color issues are the true racists. However, when they voted out God and references to Jeruselum from their platform at the convention, scrambled to put it back in at the protest of many people on the floor, they drove in the final nail. Digging into the grave, stirring up the maggot-ridden dirt, is Benghazi. No minor issue. But, let's not forget that Obama had to add, "voting is the best revenge".

Yes, America is awake and it is not lost on us the beauty of Romney's response, "vote for love of country".

Liberals Threaten Not to Vote....Say it isn't so!

CBS News in Providence, Rhode Island has an article about the disappointment of Liberals in Obama's performance. It's not that he's done too much damage to this country by their measure. Oh, no. It's that he's not done enough! I kid you not. Read the article, it is just amazing the ignorance of these people. However, what made me laugh was the line, "The widespread belief in Obama’s message of hope and change turned to frustration as the president yielded to Republican pressure by devoting a significant portion of the 2009 stimulus package to tax cuts."

Say what? Leaving aside the lack of information on what constitutes "Hope" and "Change", don't these people have any idea that tax money doesn't come out of thin air? I mean really, the 2009 stimulous, almost a TRILLION dollars....where did this money come from? Do they think it grew on trees? Do you wish on a star and dollar bills fall from the sky? Or, how about looking in cabbage patches? I'm serious here, where do they really think this money actually comes from? How does a government PAY for a tax cut when the tax money that they are supposedly "giving" back to the people who earned it and the money stolen from the same taxpayers for a "stimulous" is EXACTLY the same source of funds? Oh, that's right, it must be Obama's stash! But, where did Obama get it since he's never held down a private sector job? Oh, that's right, he wrote TWO autobiographies before he was 40. Maybe he gypped Bill Ayers out of his ghost-writing fees?

Something Funny I Read Today

I ran across this article on the Reuters website today commenting on Florida's pending official reaction to the U.S. Justice Department's demand that the election commission or Secretary of State STOP removing the names of dead people (and illegal aliens) from their voting lists. This specific sentence made me stop reading with a laugh: "The warning issued this week by the head of the Justice Department's voting section said the effort appeared to violate the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which protects minorities."

I guess they are saying dead people are a minority, too? You could say, technically, that dead people are a minority because they don't have a voice, correct? However, this calls into question how far back in history are they counting the dead people? Maybe, if you are strict about it, you could say that the number of dead people on Florida's election roles will definitely constitute a minority. However, the fact that they are dead does give them a message and a voice, don't you think? The message being, "I am dead, and so, I cannot vote. Please stop using my name in vain and forcing my political reputation as a vote in ways I cannot contest and never intended." Wouldn't that be a great, and correct, way to interpret their voice? So, if they do have a voice, are they a minority? Well, if you want to be technical about who is a minority, the largest minority in the world is the individual. As a consequence, every individual's vote must mean something, and forcing the deceased names to remain on the roles so that many extra Democrats can vote multiple times removes all meaning from a living individual's effort to participate in our political process. So, yes, Florida's decision to remove dead people (and illegal aliens) from their voting roles IN NO WAY violates minority protections.
